PMP® Exam Prep Scholarship Program
for unemployed Project Managers

Having your PMP® certification can make a huge impact with a potential employer, especially given today's competitive job market. RMC understands how difficult and expensive it can be to upgrade your project management skills—especially for those who are unemployed. In support of the profession of Project Management, as well as those whose careers depend upon it, RMC will award one (1) full scholarship per month to our PMP® Exam Prep classroom-based course or our PMP® Exam Prep e-Learning course—your choice! Note that in order to apply for a scholarship, you must be able to answer "YES" to all of the following questions:

  1. I have at least 5 years of full-time experience in the discipline of Project Management.
  2. I have been unemployed without a full paycheck or severance package for at least 90 consecutive days.
  3. I am currently unemployed due to a layoff, a downsizing or a project/department elimination.
  4. I perform no more than 15 hours per week of contract consulting.

Please be aware that professional, full-time contractors between assignments are NOT eligible to receive scholarships. RMC asks that people who fall into this category do not complete the scholarship application. Also, please be aware of the following:

  • Scholarships must be used by the named recipient, within six (6) months of receipt, and may not be transferred to third parties for any reason;
  • Any travel and lodging expenses that may be incurred on the part of the scholarship recipient are the sole responsibility of the recipient;
  • All decisions regarding the awarding of scholarships are at the sole discretion of RMC; and
  • Scholarships will be awarded regularly, on the 1st of each month.

If you believe that you qualify for a scholarship from RMC based on your answers to the questions above, please fill out the following application for immediate consideration. All scholarship recipients will be notified via email, and their names will be posted on the RMC website. Note that your information will only be considered for a period of six (6) months, so if you have not been granted a scholarship within that time period you must re-apply.
