Technical Requirements
Below are the technology requirements for students of RMC's Instructor-Led Online Courses. RMC currently uses a Virtual Classroom technology called iLinc for Learning. * Live Online class registrants should plan to call into the class using either a hard wired phone line or cell phone. Access information to each live class conference line are provided with class registration confirmation details. We do not recommend using Skype to call in as it limits participation and students may miss out on vital information provided throughout the course.
Note for Mac and iPad Users
- RMC Live Online courses are currently compatible with Mac OS, versions 10.5 or higher.
- RMC Live Online courses will be compatible with the iPad device specifically, starting with any classes delivered on or after December 1st of 2012. If you are planning to take a Live Online course from RMC using an iPad device, you must a) register for a class after this date, or b) use a compatible computer or laptop device.
