How it Works

If you purchased Version 6 of PM FASTrack—either as a stand-alone, or as part of the PMP® Exam Prep System—and do not pass the PMP® exam by August 30th, RMC will transfer the remaining days of your software license to the version for the new PMP® exam (Version 7.x) at NO CHARGE.

Free Upgrade Conditions

Your PM FASTrack Version 6.x will be upgraded to version 7.x at no charge, if the following conditions are met:

  1. You have time remaining on your 6.x license.
  2. You have not passed the PMP exam.
  3. Your license has not been shared or violated in any way.
  4. You purchased PM FASTrack directly from RMC.

For any upgrade, the 'time remaining' will be manually set to whatever time you have remaining on your 6.x version at the time of the upgrade.

Free Upgrade Exceptions

RMC will not offer free upgrades to expired licenses, shared licenses, violated licenses, licenses belonging to people who have already passed the PMP exam, or licenses not purchased directly from RMC (or an Authorized Training Provider/Product Distributor). Students who have already passed the PMP exam and/or did not purchase their software directly from RMC may still receive an upgrade, but will be subject to the Upgrade Fee outlined in the next section.

Upgrade Fees for Non-RMC Customers and/or Existing PMPs

Licenses purchased from somewhere other than directly from RMC (or an Authorized Training Provider/Product Distributor) will be subject to an Upgrade Fee in the amount of $29. Similar to free upgrades, the 'time remaining' on each paid upgrade will be manually set to whatever time you have remaining on your 6.x version at the time of the upgrade.
