Administrator Rights

How Do I Determine if I Have Sufficient Rights to Install the Software?

You need "Administrator" or "Power User" rights to install PM FASTrack®.

To determine if you have sufficient rights, first login to your machine using the account you will use when installing/using the software.

• Click Start, Control Panel, User Accounts.
• Under the "User" tab, your login account should belong to the group "Administrators" or "Power Users" (example screen). If not, you or your system administrator will need to change this.

Workaround for Restrictive Environments:

If you work in a restrictive environment, you might be able to get your system administrator to temporarily grant you the rights you need to install the software, then remove those rights after the installation is complete. In testing, this procedure has worked.

Note: The computer user account that will be used for accessing the software must be the same as the computer user account used to install the software. (do not have an IT adminstrator install the software under their account)
