Welcome to the support and download page for RMC e-Books. As a first step, please read ALL of the information about downloading and installing below.
Technical Requirements
Hardware Requirements (Minimium Recommended)
- 1GHz processor or more
- 512MB RAM
- SVGA Card (at least 16bit colors, 24bit or 32bit color recommended)
- 120MB Disk Space
- Internet connection for registration
- If using on older Apple MAC (PPC Processor) then a PC emulator is required, e.g. VirtualPC
- Most Newer Apple Macs (Intel Processor) can use the MAC version of DNL reader without need of emulator
- EXCEPTION: Apple Macs with OSX 10.7 Lion are not supported at this time
Operating System Requirements
- Windows 7, Vista, XP, Windows 2003 or MAC OSX 10.4 Tiger thru 10.6 Snow Leopard (for Intel Macs only)
Technical Support
Many suppport issues are addressed by having the latest version of the e-Book reader software. Before contacting RMC, try re-downloading the reader software (Under "How to View RMC e-Books" below).
If you continue to have problems, contact RMC Project Management Customer Support at 952-846-4484 or send the following information to info@rmcproject.com:
- Let us know everything you tried.
- The exact error, send a screen shot of the error
- The exact point that the error occurs
- The operating system
- The make and model of your computer
- Your activation key
How to View RMC e-Books
- Download the DNL reader setup file. (When presented with the option to Run or Save, we recommend saving the setup file.)
- Close your web browser. Double click the dnlsetup.exe file to install the DNL reader. When installation is complete, close the setup program.
- Now you can double click any downloaded DNL file to view it.
Note: The DNL reader has been digitally signed so you can verify that it is safe and has not been tampered with. If you have any questions concerning the DNL reader, please contact us.
Note: During setup, if you do not get the blue install window, please check that you are logged into your computer using an Administrator account.
Note for MAC Users
If you are using an Intel Mac (e.g. any Mac less than 2-3 years old), please download the DNL reader. EXCEPTION: Please note that Macs running OSX 10.7 Lion (released July 20, 2011) are not supported at this time. The DNL reader software will not work on this operating system.
The DNL reader setup program will automatically check for installed components and download and install additional items if required. Just follow the prompts and click yes if asked. Depending on your connection speed, this may take around 2-10 minutes or less.
Note: If you have an older PPC Mac, please use the Windows version of the DNL reader in emulation mode using a program like VirtualPC or Parallels.
Downloading Your e-Book
- Try it for FREE! (right-click a link below and "save" to your computer)
- You can now double-click on the RMC e-book link for reading the ebook.
- The RMC e-Books have many interactive features which may be new to the reader. For your best reading experience, it is highly recommended that you familiarize yourself with the first few pages of the book, beginning with the section titled Current Interactive Features. This will help you get the most out of your RMC e-Book experience.
Uninstalling the DNL e-Book Reader
In the event that you no longer wish to read RMC e-Books, have deleted all of your existing RMC e-Books, and would now like to uninstall the DNL e-Book Reader, please follow these steps.
- Download the DNL Reader uninstall program.
- Close the Reader if it is open.
- Close all browser windows which are open.
- Double click on the program you downloaded ( dbuninst.exe ) and run the program.
- When prompted whether you want to reinstall the web plugin, select "No."
- The reader has now been successfully uninstalled.
